CPMS Migration with Existing eMSP Retained

IT

THE CHALLENGE

A European CPO sought to migrate approximately 2,000 charge points to a new CPMS while retaining its existing e-Mobility Service Provider (eMSP) platform and customer-facing mobile application entirely unchanged. The migration could not affect eMSP integrations, the mobile app experience, or any customer-facing touchpoints. All existing interfaces, APIs, and integrations needed to remain fully operational throughout.

OUR APPROACH

  • Preserved all existing eMSP interfaces and third-party integrations by designing the new CPMS to maintain identical API endpoints and data contracts

  • Executed comprehensive end-to-end interoperability testing between the new CPMS and the retained eMSP to validate that all functionality remained intact before cutover

  • Conducted a controlled, phased CPMS cutover, validating each batch against the eMSP before proceeding,to eliminate risk of customer-facing impact

  • Maintained real-time monitoring of customer-facing services throughout to detect and resolve any anomalies immediately

OUTCOME

2,000 charge points were successfully migrated to the new CPMS with zero impact to the eMSP platform, mobile application, or end-user experience. All existing integrations continued operating without modification.
